Rhythm

I worked on this project for Agape Theatre, an organisation specialising in creative arts and dramatherapy as forms of therapy for children and young adults with attachment concerns. They engage children through interventions that encourage self-confidence and address trauma through play. They believe the arts can allow children to express themselves in ways mere words cannot. Each illustration is meant to be ambiguous and widely interpreted. I drew inspiration from many sources, including combined aspects of my own culture, life experiences and daily influences to bring this project to life, based on the needs specified by Agape. This project is very special to me not only because it is my debut illustration project, but also because I consulted with my late father prior to landing this contract, only weeks before he passed. Below are a few images from the card deck, available for purchase on Agape’s web store accessible via this link.
